The solutions are always of the highest quality. Our company utilises robust machinery, has over twenty years of experience, and is certified by the NCCA and IICRC.
Most of our work comes from referrals, a highly effective form of advertising.
Over the years, we have gained much experience in our field, including unusual jobs.
Apart from reviving carpets, we are also well-versed in stain removal.
From basic extraction to advanced.
Chemistry is used to reverse those troublesome blemishes.
Those which have turned fibres yellow or orange have been bleached and cannot be reversed.
We have several methods at our disposal.
Before any work commences, we will undertake a survey.
This allows us to examine your furniture, identify the fibre, check the fittings and seams, identify odours and urine issues, and do anything else.
The very first action we take on any task is to hoover.
We remove as much loose debris as possible.
This allows the relevant solution to work better.
Carpet Cleaner Culcheth
For this customer, it was quite a challenge, as you can see.
Spillages included medicine, food, tea and coffee. Besides that, we were also trying to eliminate urine accidents. The customer had also tried to sort the stains out using shop products that did not work.
The hair and dust were so embedded within the fibre we had to use a special machine to remove them. The quantity recovered was a lot.
Once this process has been completed, we will apply our chemical solution. The standard ratio we use is one scoop per litre of warm water. When we applied this initially, it didn’t do anything to break down the dirt. We added more solutions, which ended up being 4 scoops per litre. When applied via our sprayer, we agitated this into the fibres using a CRB machine. We repeated this process on two further occasions.
Now we set up our machine. Water pressure was set to 300psi, with the heat set to steam. Within the fresh water tank, we applied an acid. This will neutralise the alkaline application to a pH of 7.5.
Starting on the landing, we used a lot of repetitive wet and dry strokes. The wand we use has a clear window that allows us to see when the recovered water is running clear.
Moving onto the bedroom and stairs.
When the first floor had been completed, we applied a specialist deodoriser.
Our next challenge was the lounge.
Repeating the same actions as earlier.
We now inspect our work.
Not all work requires photographic evidence. We only do this in the more challenging jobs.
Solutions we use
We have a vast arsenal of solutions at our disposal. Acids for tea and coffee removal. Red wine, rust, and paint.
Deodorise agents for vomit, faeces, and pet odours.
The chemicals used are alkaline based and start with a pH. Of 8 continuing to 13. Using an incorrect product can cause permanent damage, so using our training and 20 years of experience ensures we get it the right first time.
From being an eyesore to putting up with the mark. Many try to remove these blemishes themselves. In the vast majority, they have no success. Some have sealed in the problem with the shop products they have purchased.
When a customer asks, can we remove a,b,c we ask questions such as What have you tried? What colour is the mark now? If bleaching has taken place, such as turning yellow or orange, this can not be removed.
Our advice to you is: Call us straight away or just blot using a towel and warm water. Don’t follow the advice given on the web.
Urine Removal
Pets can cause a lot of damage. To remove urine, we take a detailed survey using a UV torch and our nose. We may rid this with hot water extraction. Continually flushing. It may be more severe and we are required to inspect the underlay and subfloor. We have a dedicated section on this.
The new items look great. Keeping that way is another matter. Especially if you have a busy household. Having an invisible barrier to protect the fibres dispels liquid and other spillages. This service is an add-on.
Hands up who have tried to clean their furniture to later say never again. We hear it all the time. Going for the machine, carrying out the work yourself, which in your head you think will take an hour and you are at it all day. To top it off, the results are not good at all, and in the worst-case scenario, a smell is now evolving.
You are now opening windows and air fresheners, but that musty odour will not go away.
So many fabrics and designs. They look great when new, but over time, marks and grease build-up. How we eliminate this can be time-consuming.
A lot of intricate areas have to be dealt with, such as pipework and headrests. We use dedicated solutions.
How much does this cost? This varies depending on whether your settee is a three-seater, two-seater, or single.
Do we need to remove pet odour or urine?
What fabric is it?
I have leather furniture. And the one thing we do twice a year is perform maintenance. This involves de-greasing and re-nourishing the leather.
